Went together with little effort, very heavy and sturdy. The leaf fits fairly well, not perfectly, but I didn't expect complete perfection at this price. From the top the table is beautiful. Just from the sides the bottom edge of the leaf is separated a couple millimeters from the bottom edge of the table and lets just enough light through to notice it...if you're looking closely. The finish rubbed off on one edge at some point, not sure if this happened when we went to set it up and it rubbed across the kitchen floor, or if it came that way. Should cover up easily with furniture repair markers. Overall very satisfied and happy with this purchase.
